What did you like most about the course?

New methods and techniques of teaching, opportunity to communicate within the English speaking community

I liked the structure of the classes, which included lecture material, discussion of issues with the teacher, discussions in groups. The speech of the lecturer is very understandable for Ukrainian listeners, the organization of work with listeners is smooth.

As it turned out, the problems of teachers and students in the process of distance learning are very similar in both Britain and Ukraine. That is why this course was not just for us to learn something new, but also to exchange views and experiences with each other about the specifics of each teacher's approach. I think in the process, everyone found something new for themselves and will use it in the future not only for teaching foreign students, but also for students studying in their native language

Which topic(s) in the course did you find most useful?

In my personal perspective, the course's most captivating subject was the exploration of international group collaboration, both in face-to-face and remote settings. I have already begun implementing several valuable tips shared by the lecturer and my peers throughout this semester. I firmly believe that the acquired skills will prove invaluable in my future endeavors.

In my classes, I will use methods of interaction between students, their work in groups and discussions. I will try the proposed methods of engaging an online student. I will pay attention to emotions in education.

I think the topics «Making your Lecture Clear to Learners» and «Teacher Talk Time» are actual and helpful right now. Online learning requires a new approach to organizing and conducting the learning process. New knowledge will help me make my lectures more understandable and interesting for students.

Each topic had interesting components for me. The most relevant, in my opinion, are topics about different types of questions that will increase the activity and involvement of students in the educational process, as well as about different interactive methods when conducting online classes.

I gained new experience of conducting classes with foreign language students. I received useful skills, how to diversify the lecture, how to build a convenient plan of the lecture, how to consider various conditions, take into account the different level of language skills, the psychological state of students, mental characteristics of the nation.

This course is relevant for all teachers who want to improve the level of their pedagogical skills, it is very useful when preparing classes in English for foreign students. To get maximum effectiveness from the course, try to actively express your opinion in English.

It is necessary to actively participate in discussions, as the ideas that come during the discussion can often be used to improve the effectiveness of teaching

Engaging in discussions within subgroups in English would be highly beneficial and serve as an excellent opportunity for language practice.
